The mccaulleys
My brother (Alan) and his wife (Brianna) let me take some fall photos of them and their sweet 5 month old daughter, Hadley! I was excited for another family shoot!
The days before our planned shoot at Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve were beautiful and 65 degrees. Then the weather decided to do what it does and we were left with 45 degrees and rain showers on the day of. I watched the weather radar like a hawk and the sun decided to peak through and the rain stopped just as they arrived!
Miss Hadley had her own plans and decided to nap on the car ride to the park so we had some time for pictures with just Al and Bri. The colors were plentiful and I couldn’t imagine how amazing this place would look on a sunny day.
Alas, we were not given those cards and that’s okay. I hoped to make it quick and easy for them so they could put their coats back on and be on their way! Hadley was stoic at the beginning, but quickly started making her presence known with her baby chatter. We had some good lighting that within 20 minutes was quickly disappearing behind dark clouds and a final sprinkle of cold rain pushed us out before sunset, but we got the photos!
Of course leaving the park, the sun broke through the clouds with the rain and I drove off into a rainbow! It was a quick 30 minutes, but a fun opportunity to take fall family photos for them!
